First time brazilian waxing?

how long is the area red after waxing?First time brazilian waxing?
It shouldn't be red for more than a day on most people.

However, sugaring is much better than waxing. It is cleaner as the sugar is only used once, gentler, and leads to fewer ingrown hairs.

Sugaring salons are hard to find, but put into Google: ';body sugaring'; and the name of your city or a nearby larger city and you will probably find one.

If you do go for waxing, tell the cosmetologist that you want to buy your own bottle of wax and that she should put your name on it and use it only for you. There is a large danger of infection if the same bottle is shared and it should be against the law for a bottle to be used on more than one client.

It does not hurt very much, just a quick bracing sting.First time brazilian waxing?
Well it depends on the person’s skin, but anywhere from a few hours to 24 hours. For a Brazilian you may be a little sore since the hair coarser then say your legs. It’s good to take some Advil an hour before a wax to help with the pain and inflammation. And buying some over the counter hydrocortisone for the area for the first few days really helps as well. Another tip is once the hair starts growing in within 2-4 weeks start exfoliating. It really allows the hair to push through the top layer of skin so you won’t get any in grown hairs. Good luck!

NOW, for the person who wrote about sugaring. She is totally incorrect. I am a licensed esthetician. I do waxing for a living. For one state law and how it’s done is the same pot of wax is used for everyone. HOWEVER; it’s NEVER contaminated because a new stick is always used. After it touches the person’s skin it’s then thrown away and then a new wax stick is used. PLUS an esthetician pretty much would never allow a client to use their own wax. It takes way too long to heat up for that client and then to heat up another pot for the next client; time and money for the esthetician will be lost. Sanitation is not an issue as this person described. Another thing is hard waxed should be used for Brazilian waxing, not strip wax. The difference is hard wax “shrink wraps” around the hair. It dries on the skin and piece is flicked up and pulled off. While strip wax stays the same temperature as the skin so there is more tugging and pain involved. So sugaring would be totally more painful and tug at the skin compared to the correct type of wax.

If you have any more questions about waxing feel free to message me. :) Good luck!
most likely the 1st 24-48 hours. i am a guy. i get a full brazilian waxing done once a month , plus everything else from the neck down except the arms. ( but yes my armpits are waxed also. my aestician tells me not to use soap or any kind of creme for 24 hours, and she is correct i have never got a rash or reddness that lasted more than 12 hours afterwards, bald is beautiful dear.
Depending on your skin type and what you do afterwards, about 1 - 3 days. I have sensitive skin and the waxer said I should try cream with witch hazel in it, which I did, and found that the redness was gone by the end of the day! Highly, highly recommend witch hazel!!
it really shouldn't be if done right, go to professional wax er and it wont, also , do not use soaps, oils or cremes on the area that was waxed for 24-48 hours.
About a day, and then you can enjoy being smoooooth for around 5 weeks!
your brave!
